Financial Aid

Up one level
by Joyce Door last modified 2006-09-21 13:27

Trinity School is committed to a strong financial aid program to support its goals of building a socio-economically diverse school community. By allocating 10% of tuition to financial aid, Trinity is able to fund opportunities for students whose families may not be able to afford full tuition. If you think your family could benefit, please let us know. Any inquiry or application you make will be kept confidential.

To apply for financial aid you will be asked to complete the School and Student Service “Parents’ Financial Statement”. We will also need a copy of your federal income tax return for the prior year and a release for us to verify the information with the IRS. To qualify for financial aid, it is very important that the SSS forms are completed by March 1. (If you are admitted after that date, please complete and mail them within one week of receipt.). Trinity’s financial aid committee meets in early April to determine the amount of grants. (Additional meetings will be held with applicants who are admitted during the late spring and summer.) For those who qualify, grant letters are usually mailed before spring break. The first tuition payment will be due June 1. In the following years you will need to reapply for financial aid during the reenrollment period.

Please be assured that the committee gives careful and confidential consideration to each family’s needs. We strive to help families feel welcome in applying for financial aid.
