Bim’s Mission:
It is Bim’s intention to offer a quality PE program that helps students understand the basic components of a healthy lifestyle. Whether students are engaged in individual fitness activities, or contributing to a common goal with their peers, Bim seeks to help students enjoy all of the wonderful ways to create personal goals. In turn, students can understand the value – as lifelong learners – of the importance of making healthy choices in their lives.

Bim is committed to providing students with opportunities to explore who they are by asking questions and by sharing their own personal stories. Establishing trust with one another through dialogue and cooperative situations is a great way to grow and develop a healthy sense of self. Giving students an opportunity to create a positive self-image is a priority every day here at Trinity School, and something Bim is proud to be part of.

The experience that informs Bim’s teaching:
With time spent as an athlete and a student of several fascinating areas of interest, Bim combines a background in art, psychology, and sports, to understand how students learn about themselves and how to establish positive, healthy relationships with others. Even his experience serving in the military informs how structure and discipline can benefit students as they pursue and reach their goals.

Bim is forever curious about learning new things. He finds that information, knowledge, and wisdom can come from anyone, especially children. His personal experiences including time spent in the military, in organized sports programs, and diverse job experiences, have helped him understand the importance of lifelong education.
