ECP Pajama Day – Friday, Jan. 20th

It’s undecided who enjoys this Trinity ECP annual tradition more: the adults or the children!

The teachers and parent volunteers at the event cherish the squeals of joy as the kids arrive to see that their “lovies”—stuffed animals that they brought in the day before—had a sleepover with the teachers and made a terrible mess of popcorn on the floor! The parents at home, rushing to get the children out the door, cherish one less morning challenge—getting the kids out of their pajamas!

But it was clear, the children thoroughly enjoyed their special Pajama Day with banana pancakes, waffles, fruit, juice, and fun activities. They loved the big parachute, crawling through the tunnels, playing in the tents, and coloring their aprons. There was pride in showing off new “jammies” that had been purchased specially for the event, and one proud younger sibling who said their older Trinity sister was jealous because she didn’t get pajama day, too!
