Philanthropy at Trinity School

Up one level
by tperry last modified 2006-09-15 16:32

As part of our mission, Trinity School upholds the values and traditions of the Episcopal Church. One of those values and traditions is philanthropy.

Another part of our mission is to celebrate a child’s growth in social responsibility. A vital element of social responsibility is the gift of time, talent, and resources.

Trinity School believes that it is essential for families to exemplify philanthropy by contributing to the School’s fund raising efforts, which include the Annual Fund and the annual Celebration & Auction.

Periodically, philanthropy will also include a capital campaign.

It is true that the exemplary education your child receives at Trinity School exceeds the cost of tuition, and it is true that your gifts support the people and programs that make Trinity so special. But the primary reason Trinity School encourages families, friends, and supportive others to donate to our fund raising efforts is to instill in our young students an understanding of the importance and benefits of philanthropy.

YOUR GIFTS IN ACTION

Contributions to our Annual Fund and annual Celebration & Auction go to support operating expenses, encompassing both the ECP and Elementary programs. Each gift, regardless of size, supports the daily work of our students and teachers, including:

  • Outstanding, dedicated, caring, and professional personnel
  • Rigorous academic program
  • Carefully crafted child-centered curriculum
  • Personal attention and increased intellectual stimulation
  • Student-Teacher ratio of less than 9-to-1
  • Computer:Student ratio of 1:3
  • Innovative and integrated specialist programs: advanced math, science and garden, Spanish, music, art, P.E., religious studies, and chapel plays
  • Need-based financial assistance to families who qualify
  • 13,000 volume library with computer and wireless internet access
  • State-of-the-Art Early Childhood Program facilities
  • Beautifully maintained facilities, playgrounds, and outdoor learning enviroments with wireless internet access

We thank our parents for entrusting Trinity School with the very best education for your child, and we thank you for generous support as well as your gifts of time and talent.
