Community
“Our closest friends are people we met at Trinity School, when our children were there. The kids are off to college now, but our family friendships remain.”
—Trinity School Alumni Parent
You and your family value education. You seek an intimate community where your children can thrive in learning and where they can develop a world-view based on open-minded respect and active engagement with diversity of thought, people, and places.
At Trinity School you will find other parents who share the hopes and aspirations you hold for your child. It is no wonder that some of these people have the potential to become your good friends.
Often-heard comments from Trinity School parents:
“There is a feeling of calm purpose that you get just by walking around the campus.”
“My child is so happy to come to school!”
“I wish I’d gone to Trinity School when I was growing up.”
We believe that helping children understand that they are part of a larger community is important. Interwoven into age-appropriate curriculum and community service is the development of the sense of self (as an individual and a group member), and understanding the group experiences in a holistic way. We promote values, attitudes, and behaviors that embrace diversity. We cultivate decision-making and social participation skills.
Our very active parent community also provides an abundance of their time, enthusiasm, and skills in myriad activities and events that strengthen our strong sense of community year round. The Trinity Parent Association (TPA) sponsors and produces many annual traditions such as the Back to School Banquet, Halloween Carnival, Christmas Craft Fair, and Fun Day. Trinity School parents model a culture of philanthropy through 100 percent participation in the Annual Fund and the Celebration & Benefit. The TPA leads and coordinates the annual Celebration & Benefit, raising significant funds for the School’s operating expenses.
We are fortunate to have an extraordinary community of families committed to the School’s mission and the quality of education their children receive at Trinity.
Come see if Trinity School’s values and purpose come alive for you!
