Library
The Kin May Wen Tang Library at Trinity School’s Upper Campus is an incredible resource with over 14,000 volumes of books and media. The collection richly supports the School’s academic program and provides a wide and varied resource for students and families to enjoy. Several computer workstations are also available.
Children can visit the Library before and after school as well as during recess. ECP JK through Grade 4 classes have weekly library for a half hour a week; Grade 5 meets for 50 minutes each week. The library program includes reading aloud from literature from all genres; exposing students to many authors and illustrators; showcasing books related to classroom curriculum and special projects; and helping students engage and expand their reading interests.
The Tang Library also ensures that special collections, relevant to grade-level curricula, is on hand in every classroom. At the Lower Campus, a wonderful Book Bag program allows families to take home a different collection of books each week. Lower Campus families also have full access to the Tang Library.
The School is passionate about its Library and providing students with a love for books as well as the ability to access, evaluate, and use information in the course of their projects and individual pursuits.
