About

Welcome

Welcome from Trinity’s Head of School

Welcome to Trinity. Whether you’re actively looking for a new educational environment or just learning about what makes Trinity unique, we think you’ll find a community quite unlike any other in the San Francisco Peninsula.
Our school is in a unique position for an independent school. Located on Sand Hill Road with Stanford University nearby and adjacent to downtown Menlo Park and Silicon Valley, we occupy 5.5 acres on both campuses. We sit at the crossroads of innovation and social consciousness. The Trinity faculty educates the next generation of innovative, empathetic difference-makers.

As an intentionally small school in an environment where our expertise and professional development is focused in Preschool to Grade 5, we can teach to the genius in each child.  We can nurture that genius because we work as hard as possible to know the uniqueness of each student.  I’ve always said there’s a genius in each child at Trinity - the genius could be a musician, mathematician, social scientist, athlete, writer, artist, thespian, scientist, linguist, reader, or other areas of genius.  We see it everywhere and we have an expert faculty and staff who construct lessons to reach and teach that genius.

Furthermore, since 1961, Trinity has prided itself on academic excellence and a commitment to social equity and service to others, which are hallmarks of the Episcopal educational tradition. We believe in proactively and nimbly adapting to meet the needs of our entire community - from students, parents, faculty, and staff.  We know what we do best: create the most conducive environment possible for engaged, focused, and differentiated learning where each student is known, valued, and unique in their voice. A Trinity student has constant questions about the world around them, and we love nothing better than exploring those answers together.

Take some time to explore our website. See yourself at Trinity, now and in the years to come. Our whole community welcomes you precisely as you are.
